Surface Pro Drivers | CRASHCTRL

Welcome to CrashCtrl!

We have your Microsoft Surface Pro drivers right here!

4/5/2013 â€" The Intel HD Graphics 4000 driver version 15.31 has been found to cause the fans to get louder (under stress) but does improve gaming and graphics performance. In addition, Windows Update forces the old/default driver instead of the latest one. If building images for production, keep this in mind. As an alternative, we have placed the Surface Pro default Intel HD Graphics 4000 driver from the latest Windows Update below, which alleviates both issues mentioned and can be safely used in production environments. Neither are in the complete package. If you wish to force the newer one to stay installed, you must force this in the classic Control Panel by hiding the System Hardware update that is 58MB. Use in good health.

DisplayLink Dock Driver

4/3/2013 â€" Added a link to the DisplayLink updated driver. This fixes numerous issues if using a DisplayLink dock.

4/2/2013 â€" The Intel HD Graphics 4000 driver version 15.31 is up. Feel free to download and give it a whirl. Let us know how it performs for you on your Surface Pro!

3/27/2013 â€" A new issue has been found. The Microsoft Lifecam Dashboard WILL NOT work if you are installing Windows on the Surface Pro from scratch. This is due to licensing and the attachment of said license to the factory image on the Surface Pro. There is not yet a solution for this issue. The cameras work fine otherwise and the Lifecam Dashboard, honestly, did not really add much to the experience on the Surface Pro.

3/14/2013 â€" The Intel ME! I driver ! has been added but is not included in the complete package. Please download it separately. Also, the Firmware drivers have been added and the latest Marvell Wireless driver.

3/5/2013 â€" Currently, the Realtek audio package, once installed, disables key click sounds for the type/touch cover. Please take note of this before installing it! The audio package cannot be fixed without some major editing of some dll files and we feel that would present too much uncertainty in this situation. The issue seems to actually be caused by the Surface Touch Cover Audio driver and not the Realtek package.

The audio package is now a separate download and is NO LONGER included in the COMPLETE package. The Realtek driver contains an equalizer, audio presets and a vastly superior audio experience in contrast to the built in Surface HD Audio driver built by Microsoft. Choose wisely.

3/1/2013 â€" Updated Intel USB 3.0 driver to 1.0.6.245
